The Last One!!!

Well this is it! The last one! This week has been an amazing week! We worked hard and had a bunch of fun!
We saw a lot of miracles, one of which was our investigator Grisleda. We were sitting in the middle of a lesson teaching the Plan of Salvation and she stops us and goes 'Oh Elders, by the way I stopped drinking coffee. I felt like it was something I should give up' We never ever told her about coffee and the Word of Wisdom. She just said before she felt sleepy and got a headache without her coffee and now she feels so much better when she doesn't drink it! Such an amazing miracle to see! She is so prepared and I'm so excited for her!
This last week we have a lot of appointments set up and I'm so excited to work my tail off for these last couple of days!
This mission has been the best thing I have ever done and I have loved every second of it     That doesn't mean it wasn't hard. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done but one of the most rewarding things as well. I love the people I have met and it is insane that I've been able to love people so quickly, people that I've only known for a couple of hours. I have grown a love for the Spanish language and for the gift of tongues. For the opportunity to preach the gospel in the Spanish language. I have seen the Lord's hand in the work everyday and let me tell you, He Lives! The Savior Lives! I know it with every particle of my being! He loves me and he loves everyone of us!
I'm grateful for all the support I have received and all the love I  have received from every one! Thank you!
Know of my love for each and everyone of you!
And for the last time...
Much love,
Elder McKeon

Week 96

Well well well time has passed very quickly and my time is coming to a close very quickly! 11 short days left of being a set apart servant of the Lord! That's a weird feeling to wrap my head around still!
Well this last week was a super good week. We had zone conference and I gave my departing testimony there. It was tough to do.  I  also gave a talk at church and it was a solid lesson talk. It was on Christ-like attributes, attributes of the Savior! The person who talked before me only talked for 6 minutes so had to stretch my talk. I  was able to stretch it from 12 minutes to 17 minutes. It  was a pretty good feeling being able to wing it in another language! Griselda and Sonia are doing really good. They both came to church and had an awesome time. Today was also Elder Christopherson's birthday. We threw a surprise party for him and I smashed cake in his face.
Well I love you all. Thanks for supporting me these last 2 years!
Have a great week!

Week 95

Hey Everyone!! Another week down! Wow!!!, this week has been a very interesting week! We were able to have a lot of really good lessons with our investigator Griselda and she is progressing super well! It feels so weird teaching her cuz she just doesn't doubt anything we say. She just listens and understands. When she does have a question, she is not afraid to ask and really understand what we are teaching her. It's pretty amazing! Her son is now taking the discussions with her. Her husband has now agreed to listen and be taught as well. Awesome!
Down side of this week was that Elder Christopherson got pretty sick on Saturday. He was battling through it then to top it off our car got towed!!! So then we had to go all the way to the Houston East Mission to go get it out of the impound lot. Let's just say that wasn't a cheap adventure or a fun phone call to make!!!
After that Elder Christopherson was not good at all, so we had to just stay inside Saturday night. So it was a rough week getting out and working but when we did we had some solid lessons!
One of the kids in the branch got baptized! The Sisters taught him and we were able to give him the Holy Ghost.
Wow, I didn't take any pics this week haha. Sorry!
Love you all!

Week 94

Hey y'all it's been another great week! This week was really wild! Elder Christopherson and I will be staying together for these last weeks of my mission and I'm super excited for that! Tuesday I was on exchanges with Elder Larsen and man was that killer. We biked almost 30 miles in 102 degree weather. Man was that sucky and sweaty! hahaha On Wednesday, we were able to go to the Temple and that was a great trip. Love being there! Weird having it  be the last temple trip before I go home. Look Grandma! I  sewed! Yes I did! I did a good job too!
This week Sonia, Griselda and her son, Jesse were all able to come to church. It has been a super great week!
I love y'all
